The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the House of Representatives formally announced the National Conference on Public Accounts and Fiscal Governance (NCPAFG), scheduled for Sunday 6th to Thursday 10th July 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
As disclosed by PAC Chairman, Hon. Bamidele Salam, the conference reflects the 10th Assembly’s Legislative Agenda to entrench good governance and transparency. Its key objectives include building institutional and human capacity, facilitating knowledge exchange, harmonising national and sub-national PAC frameworks, fostering broad stakeholder commitment, promoting post-legislative scrutiny, and exploring global best practices in digital governance and anti-corruption.

H.E., President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will serve as Distinguished Special Guest of Honour, with Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON, Speaker of the House Of Representatives, as Distinguished Chief Host. The Keynote Address will be delivered by Mr. Edwin W. Harris Jr., DG of GIABA.
The event will convene key stakeholders including the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), Key MDAs at all levels, anti-corruption agencies, civil society, development partners, academia, and others; all mobilising national consensus for a transparent and accountable Nigeria.
