The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, has commended Hajiya Fatima Abbas Tajudeen, wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairperson of the House of Representatives Spouses Association, for her leadership in organizing a capacity-building training for spouses of Honourable Members.
Nwawuba, who attended the session at the House of Representatives on Monday, 16 February 2025, described the gathering as inspiring and impactful. He noted that it highlighted the vital role families play in strengthening public service delivery. He further stated that the training provided a platform for empowerment, knowledge sharing, and meaningful engagement among participants.

He underscored the significance of initiatives that extend beyond legislative proceedings, noting that effective governance is supported by strong family structures and informed communities. He also praised the foresight and leadership behind the programme, stating that such engagements contribute substantially to personal growth and national development.
The Digital Skills Workshop, organized in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), brought together spouses of Honourable Members in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose. The event reinforced the House of Representatives community’s commitment to holistic development, both within and outside the chamber.
Nwawuba reaffirmed his support for programmes that promote empowerment and capacity development, stating that sustainable public service is best achieved when families are equipped, informed, and actively engaged.
