The Senate accordingly resolved to;
- Observe a minute silence in honour of those that lost their lives during the ugly incident;
- Condemn in strongest possible terms the adoption of the Children, toddlers and teachers of the affected School in Ogbomosho in Oyo State;
- Commiserate with the Families of the affected children and the government of Oyo State State;
- Urge the Federal Government to intensify effort for the release of the school Children.

MOTION
Growing Menace of Indiscipline in Nigerian Society.
Sponsor: Sen. Dachung, Pam Mwadkon (Plateau North).
The Senate accordingly resolved to;
- Express deep concern over the increasing level of Indiscipline in Nigerian Society and call on all Stakeholders to take urgent measures to restore discipline, respect for the rule of law, and Civic responsibility;
- Urge the Federal Government through the relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies, to develop and implement a comprehensive National Re-orientation and Civic Responsibility Programme aimed at promoting discipline, patriotism, Integrity, and responsible Citizenship;
- Also urge the Federal Government Youth Development, Skills acquisition, employment generation, and social intervention programmes as part of efforts to address some of the underlying causes of Indiscipline;
- Further urge the public Office holders, political parties, public Institutions, and Community Leaders to demonstrate examplary conduct capable of promoting discipline, accountability, integrity, and responsible Leadership in the Country; and
- Call on State Government, Local Government Councils, Traditional Institutes, Religious bodies, educational institutions, and Civil Society Organizations to intensify Public enlightenment Campaigns on moral values, Civic duties, and respect for Lawful Authority.
