Hon. Julius Ihonvbere’s SB. 738 for Yaba University Moves Forward in Senate

A significant legislative proposal, “A Bill for an Act to Amend the Federal Universities of Technology Act to Provide for the Establishment of the Yaba Federal University of Technology and Vocational Training, Yaba, Lagos State” (SB. 738), is progressing through the Nigerian Senate. While the bill is reported to be sponsored by Hon. Julius Ihonvbere from Owan Federal Constituency, the ongoing Senate discussions attribute the sponsorship to Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, the Senate Leader.
