The Management and staff of the National Assembly Library announce, with deep sorrow and profound sadness, the sudden demise of Mallam Nasiru Mohammed, Special Adviser on Special Duties to the Executive Secretary and Head of the Protocol Unit.
Mallam Nasiru Mohammed was a dedicated public servant, a consummate professional, and a pillar of strength within the National Assembly Library. His passing is a devastating loss to the institution, the National Assembly community, and all who had the privilege of working closely with him.
Fondly called “The Special One”, Mallam Nasiru was extremely reliable and dependable, his commitment to work was unwavering. He possessed vast professional experience. He was indeed exceptional and deeply committed to service.
I am completely torn apart and devastated by this loss and feel a profound sense of personal grief. His passing represents a huge and painful loss.
Mallam Nasiru will be remembered for his humility, loyalty, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to duty. His contributions to the National Assembly Library and his personal impact on those around him will remain indelible.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and associates. I pray that the Almighty grants him Aljannatul Firdaus and give his loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
We shall work closely with his family on burial arrangements according to Islamic rights.
