The National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF) recently hosted members of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) as part of the Institute’s Annual Trainers’ Conference. The delegation, led by NITAD President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Bulus James, visited the Library to deepen professional ties and explore opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
A key highlight of the visit was a tour of the Library’s extensive collections and digital platforms—critical resources that support research, innovation, and capacity building in Nigeria. The delegation was received by NALTF management, including Mr. Moses Ameh, Head of Administration and Human Resources; Mr. Hope Bassey, Head of ICT; and Dr. Joyce Umoren, SA on National Assembly Matters. NITAD members were encouraged to leverage the Library’s resources to strengthen training methodologies and enrich professional development strategies.

“We are delighted to welcome NITAD as part of their Annual Trainers’ Conference,” said Mr. Moses Ameh. “This engagement underscores our shared commitment to promoting a culture of continuous learning across the country. It is also an invaluable opportunity for trainers to connect, collaborate, and enhance their practice.”
The National Assembly Library Trust Fund remains a key enabler of institutional and individual growth by ensuring access to vital information resources. This engagement not only reinforced the partnership between both organizations but also laid the foundation for future collaborative educational initiatives.
