The National Assembly Library recently welcomed a high-level delegation from the Embassy of the United States of America for a formal courtesy visit and facility tour. The delegation was received by the Library’s Executive Secretary, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba and members of the Library management.
The visit served as a platform for strategic dialogue aimed at strengthening bilateral ties. During the walkthrough of the library’s collections and digital infrastructure, the delegates discussed the evolving role of legislative libraries in supporting democratic governance and informed policymaking.
Discussions also centered on exploring strategic avenues to deepen the existing relationship between both institutions, and potential collaboration opportunities.
Both delegations expressed a strong mutual interest in pursuing collaborative initiatives that will enhance the capacity of the National Assembly Library and foster a long-term partnership.
