In a move to foster institutional collaboration, the Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Baffa Dan Agundi, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF) at the National Assembly Library and Resource Centre.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore areas of synergy, particularly in leveraging data-driven research to enhance legislative processes. With the National Productivity Centre playing a key role in demographic data collection and analysis, its collaboration with the NALTF is expected to support evidence-based policymaking and governance.
Discussions centered on how accurate data can inform legislative research, drive policy development, and enhance decision-making within the National Assembly. The visit also reinforced the importance of knowledge-sharing between research institutions and government agencies to improve governance outcomes.
As the National Assembly Library Trust Fund continues to serve as a critical resource for lawmakers, partnerships like this further its mission to provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to policymakers. The courtesy visit marked the beginning of what is expected to be a productive and long-term collaboration between both institutions.
