The National Assembly Library on Thursday warmly welcomed a high-level delegation from the National Assembly Directorate of Interparliamentary Relations and Protocols.
The delegation was led by the Secretary of the directorate, Dr. Fortune Ihua-Maduenyi, who was appointed to the role by the National Assembly Service Commission in early 2026. They were welcomed by the Library’s Executive Secretary, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba and members of the Library’s Board of Directors.

The visit was aimed at fostering strategic synergy between the library and the directorate tasked with managing the legislature’s foreign and domestic institutional relationships.
Prior to taking the helm at her current directorate, Dr. Ihua-Maduenyi served as a Committee Clerk within the National Assembly, administering crucial legislative work including the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development.
