Imo Indigenes Welfare Association, National Assembly, Pays Courtesy Visit to the Executive Secretary, NALTF

The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF), Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, received a courtesy visit from the Imo Indigenes Welfare Association, at NALTF headquarters in Abuja.

The delegation came to celebrate Hon. Nwawuba’s appointment as the pioneer Executive Secretary of the NALTF and to explore areas of collaboration aimed at advancing the welfare of Imo indigenes working within the National Assembly and beyond.

Led by key delegates of the association, the visit provided an opportunity to express solidarity with Rt. Hon. Nwawuba, a proud son of Imo State, and to reaffirm their shared commitment to excellence, unity, and progress for the people of the state. The Association acknowledged the strides already being made by the NALTF under his leadership and expressed optimism about future opportunities for partnership.

In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Nwawuba appreciated the Association for the thoughtful gesture and reaffirmed his dedication to building inclusive institutional relationships that uplift not only the legislative arm of government but also communities and professional groups that share in its vision.

The visit also opened up discussions on possible joint initiatives in education, knowledge development, and professional networking, which would benefit both the staff of the National Assembly and the broader Imo community.
