NALTF Executive Secretary Receives POEPAN on a Courtesy Visit

The National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF), hosted a delegation from the Protocol Officers and Event Planners Association of Nigeria (POEPAN), who paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, at the Trust Fund’s headquarters in Abuja.

The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce POEPAN, highlight its core objectives, and explore avenues for potential collaboration with the Trust Fund. Discussions focused on identifying synergy points between both organizations, proposing collaborative initiatives in the areas of capacity building and event coordination, and encouraging knowledge exchange and institutional support for public service development. The meeting aimed to foster a professional working relationship between both institutions, with particular emphasis on leveraging their shared expertise in protocol management and event planning for mutual benefit.

The POEPAN delegation was led by its National President, Prince Abubakar Zakari. He was accompanied by the Vice President, Mr. Smart; Director of Protocol at the National Assembly, Alhaji Ghali Mohammed; Assistant Secretary, Mr. Elem Oko; Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Simon Juwon; and Student Union Government Public Relations Officer of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Comrade Mohammad Al Amin.

The Executive Secretary, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, commended the team for their initiative and reaffirmed NALTF’s commitment to building strategic partnerships that align with its mandate of advancing legislative research and knowledge infrastructure.

This engagement marks the beginning of a promising relationship aimed at enhancing professionalism, service delivery, and innovation across both institutions.
