A delegation from the Research Department of the Parliament of Ghana embarked on a benchmarking visit to the National Assembly of Nigeria on Tuesday, September 16.

The visit, part of a strategic effort to strengthen inter-parliamentary collaboration and knowledge exchange, was warmly received by the Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF), Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba.

The purpose of the visit was to engage in discussions focused on enhancing research capacity and information management within parliamentary systems. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to share best practices in legislative research, digital innovation, and institutional development.

As part of the visit, the delegation was given a guided tour of the National Assembly Library, where they explored the facilities, resources, and ongoing modernization efforts aimed at supporting lawmakers with timely and accurate information.

This engagement marks another step in deepening bilateral ties between the legislative arms of Ghana and Nigeria, especially in the areas of research, information technology, and library services.
