The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has appointed an acting Clerk of the Senate, in the person of Mr. Emmanuel Odo.
Odo’s appointment will fill the vacuum created by the retirement of the former Senate Clerk, Mr. Emmanuel Rawlings Agada. The Commission at its 10th meeting in Abuja, approved the appointment of Odo to act in the position of Clerk of the Senate, pending substantive decisions by the NASC acting in concert with National Assembly Leadership (both political and administrative wings).
Prior to this, Odo was the Deputy Clerk (Admin) of the Senate.
