The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, officially received the Chief of Staff to the President and 14th Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, CFR, during a visit to the Library.
The visit carried profound institutional significance. It was under Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila’s leadership as Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives that the vision for a modern, world-class legislative library and resource center was championed, statutory backing enacted, and construction aggressively driven.
During the engagement, Nwawuba personally conducted Gbajabiamila through the complex, highlighting the ongoing transformation of the institution into an active repository for legislative archives, empirical policy research, and democratic knowledge management.

The leaders engaged in strategic discussions centered on the sustainable development of the facility and its expanding role in supporting legislative excellence across Nigeria.
Nwawuba expressed profound appreciation to the Chief of Staff to the President for taking time out of his national duties to visit the institution he helped bring to fruition.
