NALTF Executive Secretary, Hon. Nwawuba attends NILOWV 2025 National Conference

The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, on Friday, October 17, attended the 2025 National Conference of the League of Women Voters of Nigeria (NILOWV) held at the Maryam Babangida National Women Development Centre, Abuja.

The conference themed, “The Power of Women’s Voices and Votes: A Critical Tool for Electoral Victory,” brought together stakeholders, lawmakers, policymakers, and advocates committed to strengthening women’s participation in Nigeria’s democratic process.

Speaking as a panelist during the first panel discussion, Rt. Hon. Nwawuba commended NILOWV for its sustained advocacy towards the passage of the Reserved Seats for Women Bill.

Nwawuba emphasized that inclusive representation in governance is not only a matter of equity but also a catalyst for national development. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting legislative initiatives that promote gender balance and empower women as vital contributors to Nigeria’s democracy.
