The management of the National Assembly Library led by Executive Secretary, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, officially received the President and Executive Members of the National Assembly Sports Club, led by Club President, Mr. Paul Kapnan, on a courtesy visit.
During the visit, the executive leadership of the Sports Club briefed Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba on ongoing preparations for the upcoming 45th Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA), scheduled to take place in Kano. The delegation highlighted the strategic value of sports and structured physical activities in promoting employee morale, reducing workplace stress, and strengthening inter-departmental collaboration across the parliamentary bureaucracy.
Rt. Hon. Nwawuba commended Mr. Kapnan and the entire executive council of the Sports Club for their dedication to embedding wellness and healthy living into the institutional culture of the National Assembly.
Emphasizing that institutional success is directly tied to the vitality of the workforce, the Executive Secretary reiterated his administration’s readiness to encourage and support programs that enhance staff physical and mental wellness.
